Don May brings over 30 years of leadership experience in nonprofit financial management, particularly within mission-driven organizations. His expertise spans financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and system implementation, with a strong emphasis on accountability and transparency.
Before joining Easterseals DC MD VA, Don held key financial roles in which he led comprehensive audits, implemented innovative accounting systems, and established policies that strengthened organizational compliance and operational efficiency. His background also includes designing and delivering training programs internationally, ensuring that teams are well-equipped to support organizational goals effectively.
Don earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Marshall University and obtained his CPA shortly thereafter. At home, he and his wife are dedicated to raising their aspiring hockey-playing son, with whom they share a love for travel. Additionally, Don has coached youth volleyball for over 20 years, an experience that deepens his commitment to mentorship and community involvement.
