James Bell, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a strong foundation in clinical care and military service. He holds a Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor’s in Speech Communication from St. Joseph’s College and trained at the Northport VA Medical Center. James also received specialized training in military cultural competence and applied suicide intervention skills.

James served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves as a Behavioral Health Non-Commissioned Officer, working with light infantry and medical support units. Most recently, he served as the Deployed Warrior Behavioral Health NCO at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. James previously served as a coordinator for Veterans Justice Outreach and for the Pre-911 Caregiver Support Program.
