Ready for Kindergarten

Easterseals receives many notes like the following from parents of our Child Development Center graduates:

"I wanted to send a note thanking everyone and expressing my appreciation for the teachers and literally everyone at the center in taking care of both our kids, but especially preparing M.G. for kindergarten! We had her first parent-teacher conference recently, and M.G. received glowing feedback 😊. The teachers specifically asked, 'Where did she go to preschool, because she is clearly well prepared for the setting, environment, and expectations of kindergarten!'

"But my favorite parts of the conference were when they described M.G. as inclusive, willing to ask for help and provide help to others, a generous and caring friend, and someone who makes sure everyone has someone to play with. With M.G. being so young for her grade, I know how much [the Easterseals teachers] helped M.G. find her voice and her confidence and cannot thank them enough for preparing her so well for this transition. While the first few days were obviously hard for her, she absolutely LOVES school, has made many friends, and is so excited to go and learn every day.
